This blog represents a way for me to share my love of illuminated manuscripts.  I am not an expert or scholar, but I find these images beautiful.  I hope others who love them will enjoy my selections, and my lay-person’s comments on why they appeal to me.

  1. I do adore the illuminated manuscripts. they’re much too elegantly made and intriguingly contrived not to appeal to my tastes. I like this idea of a blog based on spreading them 🙂

  2. There are other blogs out there about illuminated manuscripts, but they tend to be quite academic – I just think they’re gorgeous and would like to help others discover them, so glad you’ve enjoyed the posts!
